Some friends and family, seeking something more than the simplicity that the beautiful nature and fertile land could offer, decided to enter the world of commerce, forming a small partnership that gave rise to one of Brazil's leading metal-mechanical industries.<\/p>\n<p>Logically, in the beginning, the products sold were nothing more than basic \"dry and wet goods.\" The first step, however, had been taken. In a short time, that small business began to operate as a \"general products warehouse,\" diversifying its product offerings and growing to such an extent that the city became too small for the grand plans of the founders of what would become, today, ZAMPROGNA S.A. Paulo S\u00e9rgio Zamprogna, then Industrial Director of Zamprogna S\/A, decided to divest his stake in Zamprogna S\/A, creating the PS ZAMPROGNA Service Center in Canoas that same year. Initially focused on steel distribution, it gradually specialized as a service center for steel processing, serving a wide range of clients, from commercial steel companies to the furniture, transportation, and refrigeration industries, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2003, PS Zamprogna has partnered with Prada (now CSN \u200b\u200bDistribui\u00e7\u00e3o) in Southern Brazil, one of the largest flat steel distributors in the country and part of the CSN group. At the end of that same year (2003), we established a partnership with another very important client, Frefer S\/A (now Kloeckner Metals), at the time the largest independent distributor in the country.<\/p>\n<p>PS Zamprogna processes over 10,000 tons monthly for a wide variety of clients and currently holds a prominent position in the Rio Grande do Sul metal-mechanical sector, operating in the competitive markets of the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, and Paran\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ps.nicolascosta.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Captura-de-Tela-2025-01-08-as-15.53.36.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-101 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ps.nicolascosta.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Captura-de-Tela-2025-01-08-as-15.53.36-208x300-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"208\" height=\"300\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Implemented since 2005, PS Zamprogna's ISO 9001 Quality Management System has received constant investment to maintain standards and guarantee the expected quality for its clients.
